Luana Hills (formerly Royal Hawaiian Golf Club) Another beautiful golf course situated in the luscious foot hills of the Koolau Mountain Range. Some of the views look like it was taken from the movie Jurassic Park. An abundance of greenery blankets this course. One hole is a 3 to5 minute cart drive from green to the next tee.....depending on how much of the awsome scenery you take in. Some of my favorite holes are: The signature hole, plays straight, into the wind and non-eventful......unless you hit it too short, too long or to the left or to the right A great hole for the accurate iron player. Many carry-over skins has been won at this hole. A tough par 4 with a big and I mean big sand bunker that lines the left side of the entire green from front to back. By all means, bail-out to the right and get some aid from the right-to-left sloping hill. PS. watch out for the electrical lines above and in front of the tee box.It usually doesn't come in to play, but then again..... Ooops, THIS is the signature hole at Luana Hills. Isn't it a sight to see.....? I will try to update these pages soon with better pictures. I guess that means that I will have go to the golf course and take more pictures (and play golf).
